Founded in 2019, Rivaara is engaged in operating a pan-India chain of laboratories providing molecular diagnostics (“MDx”) based diagnostics tests. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Genei, is engaged in development of test kits and manufacturing of products (enzymes, polymerases, etc.) used in research, teaching and diagnostics related to molecular biology and genomics. The Company has also entered into partnerships with international molecular diagnostics product companies, for distribution of point of care solutions in India. The Company was founded by Bharat Daftary, a second generation entrepreneur who has ~40 years of experience in building and scaling-up multiple healthcare and pharmaceutical businesses.
